I en varm sol skinnende dag i Sahara ørkenen er vi, beskyttere av ørkenen, ute etter hevn mot Empiret. For noen måneder siden kom Empiret hit til ørkenen og ødela alle byer og tettsteder, mens de drepte alle sammen, Jeg, en britisk soldat, har blitt med i ørken-beskytterne og vi skal ta hevn.

Det er midt på natten, sola har gått ned for godt. Jeg sitter opp på en fjellhylle og overvåker landsbygda som ligger i dalen under meg. Oppgaven min er å drepe alle sammen og ta over denne lille bygda for å ta våpen og ammunisjon. Jeg merker en soldat som ligger langt unna de andre som overvåker byen.

Jeg går sakte ned bakken og er på vei mot den soldaten. Når jeg kommer nærmere ser jeg at det var to av dem, så jeg må vente. Etter en stund går den ene soldaten vekk. Jeg går sakte opp mot den soldaten som ble igjen. Jeg står rett bak han og tar ut en kort kniv som lå i lomma mi, så hopper jeg opp på ryggen hans, tar den ene hånden min å munnen hans og bruker den andre til å føre kniven gjennom halsen hans

Kroppen has faller på bakken og jeg tar opp våpenet hans, som var en hånd pistol med lyddemper. Jeg bestemte meg for å gå etter den andre soldaten som var her, så jeg gikk rundt steinen og ned noen trapper. Når jeg kom til bunnen av bakken og inn til bygda ser jeg tre soldater stå og snakke.

Jeg tar fram pistolen og med 3 vel siktet skudd treffer jeg hodet til alle tre før de fikk ropt ut  noe. Jeg løper til han nærmeste som ligger død med ett maskingevær i hånda. Jeg plukker opp maskingeværet og løp videre inn til landsbygda. Mens jeg løp gjennom to små hvite bygninger ser jeg en soldat med en brun uniform og rød lue, dette må være generalen. Jeg løp rundt hjørnet og stansa, gikk inn i sikte og skjøt han rett i hodet.

Det var to andre soldater ved siden av han som begynner å skyte etter meg. Jeg løp inn i den ene bygningen og gjemte meg. Etter en stund gikk jeg opp trappen og så ut vinduet så skjøt jeg de to soldatene. Rett etter de to døde hørte jeg masse skudd og masse hestesko lyder. Jeg går opp på taket for å se. Jeg ser meg rundt og ser at resten av ørkenen beskytterene har kommet hit og drept resten av soldatene.

Kommandøren er sortkledd og kommer med sine to voktere. De har samme uniformer som meg, helt brune med sort belte og oransje knapper. Alle tre kommer med sine store brune hester. Kommandøren fortalte meg at Empiret hadde ringt for hjelp, og at Empiret kommer til å sende mange soldater ned hit for å hjelpe til.

Kommandøren har laget en plan til å beseire Empiret som kommer. Ved hoved veien har vi plassert miner nærmest bygda, og vi har satt c4 lenger bak, sånn at når konvoien demmes kommer, og den første bilen treffer minene og eksploderer, setter vi av c4en sånn at de henger fast i midten.

Jeg har nå fått en liten brun hest som jeg spurter med til veien for å plassere c4en. Jeg plasserte 5 c4 på bakken og tar en tråd på den ene og fører den bort over til en bunker som ligger cirka 100 meter unna. Nå er det bare for meg å presse en knapp så sprenger de siste par bilene i konvoien og vi kan ta å beseire dem.

Noen andre soldater plasserer minene og spurter inntil bunkeren sammen med meg, mens andre soldater har gjemt seg på andre siden. Tilsammen er det 20 av oss ved siden av veien, 10 stykker i byen med maskingevær og 10 stykker med rifler oppå bakken bakk oss.

Det har gått en stund nå, ingen av oss i bunkeren vet hva klokka er eller hvor lenge vi har ventet. En av soldatene jeg er med ga alle oss noe å spise og litt å drikke.

"Viktig med energi folkens" sa han ut høyt.

Alle lo og spiste opp maten sin opp så fort som mulig, og drakk det ned med vannet han ga oss.

"La Allah være med oss" sa en av de yngre soldatene

Vi kunne høre noen motorer i bakgrunnen, jeg lente meg opp for å sjekke, jeg ser ut bunkeren og ser bortover ørkenen, jeg ser masse røyk, fra minst 10 biler. Dette er en stor konvoi, så det blir en stor kamp.

Bilene og stridsvognene kommer nærmere og nærmere de er cirka 100 meter unna minene nå, det er bare å håpe på at de ikke merker minene før det er for seint. Den første bilen er cirka 50 meter unna nå, mens den bakerste er cirka 100 meter unna.

Nå er den siste stridsvogna innenfor rekkevidden til c4 som vi plasserte ut, og den første bilen er like unna minene, bare noen meter nå.

BANG de første 2 bilene eksploderer. Jeg hopper på detonatoren og setter av c4, enda et smell. Steiner fyker rundt, masse røyk over alt, jeg kan ikke se noe. Jeg hører masse skrik og skyting fra over alt.

Jeg går til åpningen og legger maskin geværet ned, jeg skyter ned alt jeg ser, men det er lite. Etter noen sekunder stopper all skytingen og røyken senkes, all røyken er borte, og det ser ut til at vi har tatt alle sammen.

En av gruppene våre går bort før å sjekke etter noen levende, mens de går bort hører vi fly i avstanden. Vi ser 4 fly i himmelen fly mot oss. Flere av soldatene løper og legger seg på bakken med geværene demmes pekt mot himmelen.

Jeg løper tilbake til bunkeren, masse proppeller lyder i avstanden, jeg hopper inn døra og sikter up åpningen.

I november 1950 dukket de første kinesiske troppene opp i felten, og Kinas engasjement økte betydelig etter hvert. Vinteren satte inn for fullt, og de amerikanske styrkene i dette området var ikke utstyrt for å møte slik ekstrem kulde som de ble utsatt for. Mange frøs i hjel og kineserne feide over de forkomne amerikanske styrkene. En storstilt og vellykket evakuering fra de mest utsatte områdene ble gjennomført og reddet. De kinesiske tapene var samtidig helt enorme.

Tallene For hvor mange som har omkommet under Koreakrigen varierer fra 2 til over 3 millioner. De fleste kildene menter tallet ligger rundt 2,5 millioner. Vel 800 tusen soldater døde som følge av krigen. Mens over halvannen million koreanske sivile ble drept. Over 7 millioner koreanere lever med kjent eller ukjent familie på den andre siden av grensa.

Opinion Essay Young Crime

Young crime is happening all around the world. It could be in big cities like Oslo or New York, or smaller areas like Sætre, a welcoming and charming place in Norway. But make no mistake It doesn't really matter where you live some crime could always happen to you, like being robbed. There are multiple reasons to why young people commit crime. There are always some sort of delinquent acts taking place around the world, meaning that younger people break the law everywhere. In this article i will be talking about some reasons behind this and some solutions to stop crime.

First of all, poverty is probably the most common reason to these delinquent acts. The amount of poor people around the world is almost laughable. The fact that there are so many people living on extreme poverty whilst they are living on less than 1.90$ a day is unfair. It is easier for them to rob a store than to earn money for a meal. In some cases prison might be a better solution than their current living style, so they won't care about being put in prison which could lead to break the law whilst wanting to go to prison.

There are other reasons to young crime, such as parents and how the child is raised. The way parents raise a child can affect their child's actions. When people are young they always copy or repeat what the people older than them do, for example if you smoke your child might start, or maybe it will affect them in a different way and they wont start because they'll know how bad it is and this would have the same affect if it was to do with crime.

Prostitution and drug dealing is also a issue within delinquent acts, a lot of young adults are starting with prostitution, trying to earn that easy dollar on the street. Not necessarily poor or had a bad child hood, but they took the wrong path in their teens, or maybe they just wanted some money. Drug use and drug dealing is a problem within the young society, young children or adults being tricked to start with drugs, leading them to want more and more. Whilst other youngsters start dealing drugs, buying them of people and selling it on to others, tricking other or forcing friends to start with it, not necessarily using it themselves.

A solution to these problems would mainly be better parental control and stricter punishments from both the law and their own family/caretaker. Since the punishments on delinquent acts are minor and not really any problem for young adults, increasing the punishments would probably change the amount of young criminals by decreasing it a bit. But it would have a dramatic change if parents got better control of their children and managed to supervise them better. Another solution could be what Trump is fighting for, people to earn more and more jobs, where people will be able to get jobs and earn their own money. This would lead young criminals to try to get a job instead of trying to rob that Walmart next-door. There has already been thousands of Americans who moved to Canada, leaving more jobs open in America, as i said this could slow down some crime, by this i mean that this would stop some crime and make more people work and earn their moeny.

When young crime is happening all over the world for a various of reasons, its hard to put a solution for it, but you could always change the punishments which could stop young criminals all around the world to some degree. Poverty, prostitution and drugs are a big problem in our society and its hard to stop them. No matter what you do it wont stop it for good, making the punishments higher would increase the risk of selling drugs which would lead drugs to be more expensive. All this would make it worse when it comes to crime because people would need more money to buy drugs and people will want to sell it more because they earn a lot more. But like i said parents have a lot to say about kids, parents affect them in every way, so if the parents are criminals, that would have a bad effect on the child. But if parents punished their kids themselves it might have a better affect than jail. If the youth got jobs, they would first of all not have much free time to do crime and they will earn money to support themselves. So, they would have no reason to commit crime.

There are different types of explanation texts. In this case, it is an explanation to solve a problem

TITLE - HOW THE DAKOTA PIPELINE WILL MAKE THINGS BETTER 

Task 2 - Literary Text Type - short story

The Dakota Defense

This reads more like a factual recount rather than a literary narrative. It feels like you described the video as you were watching it, rather than engaging in a creative process. 

The structure is more or less logical. Some sentences are written in a very 'oral' way, that is to say, the way you might say them, rather than the way you should write them. I have highlighted the changes you need to make in red and the changes I made in orange. 

The weather is sunny and not a single cloud in view, it's so hot it's tiring just to breath. The landscape is a long and open grass field Its mid day and i am a tall slim man, i am strong and heavily equipped with a massive and beefy German Shepherd placed in North Dakota to stop protesters from destroying the project or placing it on a halt. We have bulldozers mining up the ground so it's ready for the pipeline that will be set here. 

However, there are dozens of protesters behind a fence protesting wanting to stop this project. Although there are constantly coming more people to join in on the protest, all of us security guards are struggling to keep them behind the fence and not to interfere. 

The protesters managed to cross the fence forcing the bulldozers to back off, but the protesters are trying to force me and the other guards back. We have dogs and pepper spray on the line holding back the protesters. As a solution to stop these protesters from pushing us back further, I have ordered my dog to attack and bite the protesters. A Native American got bit because of this, the Native Americans and the protesters came closer and closer until a guard pepper sprayed one of them in the face, leading to a guy going closer to me, as a reaction my dog jumped up and bit his arm leading him to back off. 

As a result of us using pepper spray and dogs against them, things are getting out of hand. They are getting more aggressive and they are trying to force us back out of their land. Because we have used dogs and pepper spray made them more scared of pushing us (this should be restructured), so that is giving us a chance to get back some control. There is a reporter who keeps asking lots of questions and filming all this, targeting us as the bad (what?).

It is starting to heat up here now,(should this be a full stop? If so, could the first sentence be more descriptive to create a better mental picture?) the protesters are yelling at us and at our dogs, forcing us to back off slowly. The protesters are starting to throw muck at us and screaming random words to go away. We can't hold out much longer and need to give up, we are holding our ground with our dogs and pepper spray still at the ready. We won't have much of a choice but to keep using our dogs and pepper spray if the protesters and Native Americans keep pushing us and forcing us.

We have been pushed over and we are forced to go back out of the area and go away. The project will have to wait for tomorrow before they get to continue. Let the protesters stop and settle down, and next time we can come more prepared, and ready up for another protest probably bigger than today. 

Task 1 - Persuasive text - Dakota Pipe Line

The Dakota pipeline issue has been debated not only in the US but also in Norway. The Dakota Access Pipeline "DAPL" is a project that would transport crude oil from the Bakken oil field in North Dakota to a refinery to Patoka, Illinois. There are lots of protests protesting against this, for different reasons as i will state in my text. Although i agree with some of the protests against and for this cause, I disagree on others. I would support the protesters against The Dakota Pipeline and would prefer that this project would shut down.

The people protesting this pipeline design are mostly people who are Native Americans or people who support them. They are protesting about the pipeline going through their land and also the fact that that pipeline will go under North America's longest river, But the worst parts is that the pipeline will go through some of the Native American reservations water source. I agree with their protests when it comes to their water source. The fact that the oil can pollute and destroy their water source or that river is ridicules. I'm sure DAPL can redirect some more money into going around their water source instead of going through it. Furthermore  they are already investing 3,5 billion dollars into this. They should do all they can to avoid risks like polluting more of the water in the US.

There are not only Native Americans protesting about this, although the protesters are not only protesting about the fact that the pipe is going through the reservation camps, but because oil is not a renewable resource. In addition to this a lot of people think they should be getting solar panels up and get wind turbines running. Although using oil, coal and gas is more popular, look at another point of view. Look at the future and not now or think what would be best in 10 years not what is best right now. We wont have all this oil, gas and coal in a few decades, its not a question of if, it's a question of when.

On the other hand some people would agree to this DAPL project. A reason for this could be because they think it would be better for the present US without thinking about the future. Or another thing is that they could be thinking of it as easier transport. Contrast to transport, some people will think of pollution from transporting all the oil in trucks and cars, when you can transport it in this pipe witch would slow pollution to a small degree. The DAPL project would be better for the US if you look at it now and would stop some of the transporting of oil, gas and coal in cars.

The Dakota Pipe-line has been a issue to huge amount people in the US starting multiple protests. It has mainly been an issue for most Native Americans, as the pipe goes through one of the reservation and a water source. Therefore non-Native Americans are protesting both for the reservation's water source and that the company doing this project is relying on non-renewable resources such as oil, gas and coal. Although this pipeline would make it easier and less expensive to transport oil and gas to and from Canada, it still doesn't make it right to build on the reservation. 'rather find a way around it. This is then my opinion and what i believe is right about both sides of the argument.
